Pbk.Seniors Together is a South Lanarkshire Council project, in association with NHS Lanarkshire. It is aimed at improving the quality of life for older people living in South Lanarkshire. One aim of this project was to engage the older people of the town in researching the history of the people who came to East Kilbride to set up home and build a community. The plan was to gather information about significant events, and include the experiences and stories of people involved. The end result is a picture story, architectural story and industry story.
