Tradeston to Govan in the 70s

Mortimer, Peter (Historian)2016
Books, Manuscripts
Duncan McCallum's 1970s photographs document a de-industrialised and worn-out Glasgow. Accompanied by Gorbals boy Peter Mortimer's text, this collection focuses on the dockside area of Govan, as are the neighbouring Tradeston, Ibrox and Kinning Park locales. Tradeston and Kingston had palatial and commodious public and commercial buildings as wells as tenements and the book is a testament to the majesty of Glasgow as a great Victorian city.
