After becoming entranced by Islam, Louise Kenton is strongly against western governments interfering in Muslim countries. Working on a gap year in Afghanistan, she meets Haasim, who unbeknown to Louise, is a member of a terrorist group. Louise is brainwashed over several months and learns that her love for Allah must surpass her love for anyone, including family and friends. Back at home, Louise appears to be the same as the one that left, but her heart and soul have been ripped out and replaced with hatred for the country that raised her. Now fully recruited in the terrorist group, Louise is given her first job; an MI5 agent who is causing a problem. With a strong interest in politics, Louise is elected as a local councillor and sets her sights on Parliament. She meets Adam, a Labour MP, and they fall in love. Adam is then made minister, and a pregnant Louise plants a bomb in his department.
