Minutes of the Lanark District Lunacy Board concerning the Hartwood Asylum Buildings. There are Abstracts of patients showing the changes in numbers of patients from one Board meeting to the previous one. In the minutes there are also particulars as to the number of patients, with distinction of males and females, sent from each parish in the district as well as the number of patients resident at Hartwood Hospital, how many admitted, discharged and died since the last Board meeting. In addition to these, in every meeting there are Abstracts of accounts for the maintenance of the Hospital.
