Bound photocopy extracts from "The Coalburn Chronicle".Tom Fraser was a Labour Member of Parliament (MP) for the Hamilton constituency between 1943 and 1967. He was Minister of Transport from October 16, 1964 until December 23, 1965.JJim Hamilton, who was from Coalburn, spent over thirty years recording the history of the village. He also produced booklets documenting the history of the nearby communities of Lesmahagow, Blackwood, Douglas, Rigside, Glespin and Braidwood. His vast collection of photographs and documents is held in the Jim Hamilton Heritage Society of Coalburn.
