Nineteen known sites in the city itself, and over forty others within a fifteen mile radius, in East Kilbride, Paisley, Hamilton, Kilsyth, Renfrew, Inchinnan etc. Of particular local interest are Mains Castle, Torrance House, Bothwell Castle, Bothwell Bridge, Hamilton Motte and Cadzow Castle.
