The photographs in this unusual book were obtained from U-564's concrete pen in Brest in 1945. They have been in a shoebox for the best part of 60 years. The author and the Royal Navy Submarine Museum have done a remarkable job in assigning detailed information to each of the photographs of the boat at work and so telling its history.
